An attractive offering from Philco, this bakelite AC Mains radio (lw, mw & sw bands), was made in 1953. Philco also made a wood cabinet version of this model, and there were some variations of both, which were made for export. I bought my set from an antiques shop in Aldeburgh, Suffolk (UK), whilst on holiday about 4 years ago, and managed to restore it..
