MARCONI T38A.
This a.c mains valve radio was made in 1954,
and employs long, medium & short wave bands.
It has a distinctive wood cabinet, and a well
illuminated dial.

The valve line-up includes
:- X148, W148, DH149, N148, & U149.

My set was bought from a "second - hand" shop
in Headingley,
Leeds (U.K), and this is the first model T38 radio by
MARCONI,
that I have come across. I believe that it is quite rare.!

It required the tuning pointer cord to be re-strung,
and a good "clean -up" inside the cabinet.
