Kolster Brandes MR10

This
AC Mains valve radio was made in 1955, and one of K.B's first attempts of
an A.M/F.M radio. The case styling was attractive, but the F.M operation of
the set was poor, due to bad designing. There were variations in circuit design
in this set. Both types employed a "metal rectifier" in the power
supply. Valve line-up : 12AT7, 6U8, 6BJ6, EABC80, EL84, & metal rectifier
.
This range is used in my receiver, and this variation was employed in 1956.
