This rare AC/DC Mains (long & medium waves) set comes in a nice cream coloured cabinet. It was made in 1949. The scale lamp does not light up the dial, as such, but it illuminates a small red coloured area of it, thus making it more of a "warning light", telling the user that the set is switched on.
