Bush BAC31

Made in 1953, this mains/battery valve (lw & mw bands) receiver, is basically a battery operated model, with the addition of an add-on mains power pack (incorporating EZ41 rectifier valve).
The valves in the receiver are the 25mA battery filament types (DK96, DF96, DAF96, & DL96).
The cabinet styling is very much like that of radios made by Roberts (i.e wood cabinets covered with a fabric called "rexine"). A lucky find in the BAC31, is that it can be a source of suitable knobs for the wave-change switch of the more
popular BUSH DAC90A receiver, which tend to get damaged by amateurish
repairers working on the latter set.
The control knob in question, can be found inside the BAC31, which was used on the battery to mains changeover switch. This knob can only be found in brown colou
