Bush AC91
This
AC Mains valve set was made in 1947, and is very similar to the original Bush
DAC90 receiver, except that this has the addition of a short waveband, making
the AC91 a three waveband set. The other difference, is that the AC91 is an
AC Mains set, having an auto- transformer in the power supply (still possibilities
of "live chassis" !), so it operates cooler than the DAC90 (which,
has a ballast resistor !).
This variation of the AC91 has a metal grille in front of the loudspeaker, but
there is a variation which had white bakelite grille
bars.
Valve line up CCH35,EF39,EBC33,,CL33 & CY31.
